Controlling your sample testing environment

Samples such as gels, confectionery, waxes and high fat or oil content products are very temperature critical and as such careful equilibrating and stabilising of testing temperature need to be considered to provide reproducible comparative texture analysis results.
Stable Micro Systems solve these temperature associated problems by offering a range of temperature control solutions to suit various temperature range and testing dimension requirements.

Temperature Controlled Peltier Plate
Provides a stable surface temperature for testing small or thin products such as pressure sensitive adhesives or films (+80°C to a minimum of 30°C below ambient) whilst a Peltier Cabinet provides a temperature controlled environment using PID control with an operating range from +80°C to 20°C below ambient.

Temperature and Humidity Module
Provides the facility to capture temperature and humidity data (sampled every 10 seconds) during a test and has an operating range of 0-100%RH (relative humidity) and -30°C to 100°C.
Temperature Probe
Gives direct measurement of sample temperature over the temperature range -50°C to 250°C
Exponent software is integrated to the Stable Micro Systems Temperature Control products so that temperature can be changed quickly but more importantly, displayed in real time alongside the texture analysis plot on a 2nd Y axis.
